Sherman Flake ’97 is the Manager of East Side Operations for AVFLIGHT at Willow Run Airport. As Loyola’s Head Track Coach, he led the ’07 Bulldogs to its 2nd consecutive C/D sectional championship. Sherman was the’97 recipient of Loyola’s Outstanding Athlete Award.

Alvon Dixon '98
now lives Chicago, IL, where he is both a full-time nurse and a real estate agent.

Wyatt Jones III ’98, Loyola’s Director of Admissions, has started graduate work at Marygrove College in its Griot Program, a Masters in Teaching for African-American Males.

Andre Martin '98 and his family have moved to Centerville, GA., where he owns and runs Andre’s Professional Landscaping Company.

William Moore ’98 is a Parts Inspector at Project Action, an automotive manufacturer.

Quinton O’Neal ’99 graduated from Grand Valley State University last spring with a Computer Engineering degree. He is working as a Customer Interaction Representative for AAA and is also the owner of Bloomington Management, a property investment company.

Claude Everage ’00 is currently taking pre-med courses at Wayne County Community College. His goal is to transfer credits and attend the University of Michigan in the fall of 2007.

Dallas Logan ’00 a graduate of Northwood University, recently finished a season playing in Mexico’s professional basketball league, the LNBP. Dallas had previously played with teams in France, The Netherlands, and Latvia and always makes it a point to visit Loyola when he is in town.

Brandon Thomas ’00 is working as an actor. He has appeared in several television commercials and recently made his film acting debut in the movie Detroit Hoops. He is currently working on his second feature film, Billions, Prince of the City.

David Benson ’01 is a senior at Saginaw Valley University, where he is majoring in Communications and working in the Academic Advisory Office. David recently appeared in a gospel play on campus titled "Be Made Whole." He is on track to graduate in August ’06 and plans to use his degree in Public Relations.

completed an officer’s training program with the police department and is now a Corrections Officer for Macomb County.

Michael Bouie ’02 is enrolled at Eastern Michigan University where he is a senior majoring in Marketing.

Laban King ’02 is an Executive Coordinating Director for a new record company in New York called "Next Selection Lifestyle Group." He will finish his coursework at New York University and will graduate from the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor in December ’06. [Click on the photo to view a larger image.]

Jeremy Scott ’02 is a senior at Michigan State University. He will be graduating with an English degree.

Aubrey Montgomery ’02 works at My Medicaid Matters, where he is a Medicaid Advisor for senior citizens.

Darius Dexter ’03 is a part-time student at the University of Michigan/Dearborn majoring in Engineering. He is also employed full-time at the Fountain of Franklin Nursing Home as an aide.

Jeremy Scott ’03 is in his junior year at Michigan State University majoring in English.

Khary Simmons ’03 is currently in his senior year at Wayne State University. He is majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Performing Arts. He works for Bank of America as a teller and he also teaches dance at his church, Baber AME.

Jonathan Stafford '03 is now a senior at Wayne State University, where he is majoring in Cinematography/Media Arts & Studies. When Jonathan graduates, he plans to move to Los Angeles to continue his studies in filmmaking. (Jonathan was selected Salutatorian of Loyola’s ’03 graduating class.)

Jason Thomas ’03 is a junior at University of Michigan Dearborn. Jason is studying Accounting and playing basketball as a Wolverine.

Jeff Channey ’04 is attending Concordia College in Selma, Alabama. Jeff is enjoying his classes in his Major - Computer Engineering. Jeff splits his time between his studies and the basketball team. Between the two he stays very busy!

Gabriel Harris ’04 is enrolled at Indiana Tech University majoring in Computer Information Systems.

Michael Harrison ’04 is in his junior year at Eastern Michigan University. He is studying Biology.

Garvey Leger ’04 is a senior at U of D Mercy where he is studying Elementary Education, specializing in English and Language Arts. He has returned to Loyola to help the math department as a tutor.

Ryan Pinkston ’04 is attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was recently a featured vocalist in the school’s 60th Anniversary Concert. Bill Cosby hosted this event, and Ryan had the honor of sharing the stage with such notables as Paul Simon, Gloria Estefan, Herbie Hancock. On April 27th, Ryan will perform in the Singers Showcase, an event put on each semester at the Berklee Performance Center. Of the 100+ that auditioned for this concert, only 8 were selected.

Johnas Bouier ’05 began his studies at Eastern Michigan University in January after working for a few months at Target to save up for his schooling. He plans on majoring in Business Administration.

DeWayne Harvey ’05 attends North Carolina A & T University. His major is Computer Engineering.

Devin Mason ’05 is in his second semester at Hampton University and is majoring in Sociology. He is active in LIFE, a program that helps AIDS victims, and the Black Campus Progressive, a political group.

Joshua and Jeremy Mason ’05, Loyola’s identical twins, are currently enrolled in the Police Academy in Birmingham, Alabama.

Nicholas Palmer ’05 is completing his freshman year at Michigan State University. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Christopher Pender ’05 is attending Alabama A & M University with a major in Computer Science. He is a member of an on-campus dance team and will play football next year.

Karl Riley ’05 (Class of ’05 Valedictorian) is at Wayne State University majoring in Computer Science.

Levi Starks ’05 (Class of ’05 Christian Service Award winner) is in a two-year general studies program at Wayne County Community College. Upon completion, he plans to transfer to Wayne State University and major in Journalism. Levi continues to work at Dykema, his LWEP placement while a student at Loyola.

Christopher Todd '05 enlisted in the Navy and is currently stationed at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, where he is studying to be a communications specialist.

Calvin Walker ’05 is at Wayne State University, where he is majoring in Computer Science.

Kelvin Warren ’05 is a student at Alabama A & M studying elementary education. Kelvin was the recipient of Loyola’s ’05 Christian Service Award for his outstanding work with young children.

Johnathan Wallace ’05 attends Alabama A & M University, is majoring in Pharmaceutical Sales, and plays intramural basketball.

Kelvin Warren ’05 is a student at Alabama A & M University, where he is majoring in Computer Science.

Jeremy Mason '06 graduated from the Police Academy in Montgomery, AL, and serves on the police force in the area.

Joshua Mason ’06, Jeremy Mason’s twin, is doing exactly the same thing as his brother. (Wonder if the people they work with are having as much trouble telling them apart as we did at Loyola?)
